Great Feedback
"Carmen worked with us during high school and really got to know us well, including our strengths and challenges. When she mentioned Marist, we had never even heard about the school. Marist was the best environment for us to succeed. We had excellent professors and all the resources we needed. We had great jobs in New York before our graduation."
Ashley and Alexis Chomat, Marist College 2016
“Working with Carmen, was the best that ever happened to me. She pushed me to consider schools I never even thought possible. I loved my first year at Stanford and can't think of a better place for me.”
Natalie Ponce, Stanford 2020
If I had to pick my favorite thing about the college process, it would have to be either visiting college campuses or answering the supplemental questions. I loved visiting campuses because once I stepped on one, I knew immediately whether or not a certain university would be the right fit for me or not; for certain universities, everything looks good on paper but until you see for yourself, you'll never know how to make the right decision. When it came to answering supplemental questions, I loved it because the personality and values of each institution showed depending on the kinds of questions they asked. Not only was I able to learn about what was important to the university, but I also came to see what I found to be most important to myself and my college experience! With Carmen's encouragement to dig deeper and explore my opportunities, I never would have ended up where I am today: at Carnegie Mellon University where I'm studying Business Administration. What I love about CMU is that it's a perfect fit for me; the academics are challenging, there's always something going on at the university, I've made plenty of great friends, I'm already looking into possible internship and study abroad opportunities, and I became involved on-campus by joining a sorority as well as other student-run organizations. Now that my freshman year is over, I can't wait to see what the rest of my years at CMU will bring me!
